I’ve always been outside the box. Freckle-faced, curly-haired, with a name no one could pronounce, and clothes my mom knit by hand. I didn’t fit in at school, in my skin, or even in my own mind. I spent years trying to be more “normal,” constantly shape-shifting, second-guessing myself, self-sabotaging my success, and searching for a sense of worth I couldn’t seem to find. I remembered who I was before the world told me to be smaller. And when I finally cleared the weight I’d carried for so long, I found my true calling: helping other women do the same.
